Description

The historic Hilton Boston Park Plaza is looking for a Sales Coordinator to join their team. Our beautiful property has over 1,000 guest rooms and suites, nearly 65,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and 40 meeting rooms! We have a premier Back Bay location surrounded by shopping, dining, and entertainment. Boston Common and the Public Garden are just steps away while Beacon Hill and the Theater District are within half a mile.

The ideal Candidate is looking for a long-term career within hospitality sales, has previous hotel experience in either reservations or Front Office, and is ready to join this dynamic team with outstanding organization qualities and is eager to learn!

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday 8am-5:30pm

Pay Rate:$28 per hour

What Will I be Doing? 

  • Provides the director and managers of sales, catering, and events with administrative and clerical support including word- processing, typing, e-mailing, filing, data-entry, faxing, copying, corresponding, answering telephones, processing mail, taking notes and/or dictation
  • Taking leads via email and phone and distributing them to the managers 
  • Building House accounts, inputting rooming lists, and making adjustments as needed to group contracts, proposals, and banquet event orders 
  • Preparing all site visit details to potential clients 
  • Preparing all amenities for VIP clients and groups  
  • Additional tasks or special projects requested by the managers and directors
