Hilton The Hague is looking for a part time Steward!

As Steward, you support the rest of the hotel as you take care of cleaning the glasses, mugs, plates and kitchen utensils. Your role is essential, because without clean supplies our guests cannot be served.

As a Steward you are responsible for:

• Cleaning of plates, glasses, cutlery and kitchen utensils;
• Cleaning the restaurant, kitchen and all food outlets within the hotel;
• Keeping storerooms clean and tidy;
• Ensuring that all hygiene and health- and safety standards are met;
• Working with the kitchen team to provide excellent service to our guests;
• Paying attention to the separation of waste;
• Being responsible for the transport of the waste and empty bottles within the hotel;
• Have complete knowledge of all cleaning standards and materials.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

• Takes pride in providing a great service and has a professional attitude;
• Is able to work independently;
• Has an interest in cleaning and works neatly;
• Is motivated and pays attention to details;
• Is able to work morning, evening and weekend shifts;
• Is available on a flexible basis. When it’s busy in the hotel, you work more. When it’s quiet in the hotel, you work less hours per week (0-hour/on call contract);
• Speaks English or Dutch;
• Is in the possession of a valid working and residence permit for The Netherlands.
