Great opportunity for a Tax Accountant to join our growing Tax TEAM!
Remote, Full-Time

What you will be doing

  • Ensure that all tax exemptions have been entered into the system.
  • Daily tax reconciliations
  • Reconcile taxes for hotels & resolve tax issues as they arise
  • Assist with tracking tax payments via monthly log
  • Taxes paid analysis for all hotels 
  • Requesting refunds on all overpayments from state/local jurisdictions 
  • Gathering information needed for tax audits 
  • Assist with balance sheet 
  • Assist with business renewals/updating licenses for Sales/Occupancy and Use tax annually. 
  • Assisting hotels with any tax issues or questions
  • Special projects as needed

The ideal candidate for this position

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent work experience. 
  • 1+ years multi-state sales and use tax experience preferred .
  • Strong analytical and computer skills, with an emphasis on MS Excel. 
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task various projects to hard deadlines.
