Spa Coordinator

Job Description

Job Summary

Ensures guests have a pleasant and memorable experience at the spa by maintaining smooth operations in the spa locker room and facilities area.

Job Duties

• Performs opening job duties to include turning on lights, music, steam room, sauna, etc.
• Oversees the operation and daily sanitation of the steam and sauna areas.
• Performs general housekeeping duties, such as vacuuming, sweeping and removing trash.
• Dusts and straightens furniture.
• Performs minor maintenance work.
• Monitors the operation of the locker room and facilities area.
• Provides robes and shoes to guests at the issuance desk.
• Replenishes guest amenities, clothing and towels.
• Sets-up and maintains the refreshment areas in the lounge.
• Assists with the removal of soiled/clean linen to/from the Housekeeping Department.
• Acts as an attendant in the hotel’s fitness center as needed.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Customer service or similar work experience preferred but not required

Skills & Abilities

• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk and move about spa throughout shift, bend, kneel, talk, hear, reach, sit, grasp and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to push, pull, lift, carry or otherwise move up to 50 lbs.
