Description

Capital Hilton is looking for an Overnight Front Desk Agent to join their Front Desk team! Located just blocks from the Capital's best attractions, this property has 550 rooms, 30,000 square feet of banquet space, and 4 food and beverage outlets. 

The ideal candidate will be a passionate, driven, detailed individual with excellent organization and time management skills. Customer service experience is required. In this role, you will serve as a guest-facing Overnight Front Desk Agent, reporting directly to the Director of Front Office Operations.

Shift Pattern: Overnight Shift/ 11:00pm - 7:30am/ Full availability is required including weekends and holidays

Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location (plus $1.00 overnight differential)

What will I be doing?

As an Overnight Front Desk Agent, you will maintain the professional financial standards of the hotel by managing end-of-day reports, ensuring accuracy, and reporting anomalies. An Overnight Front Desk Agent must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Ensure the maintenance of professional financial standards throughout the hotel
  • Undertake a review of end-of-day takings against logged reports
  • Edit all reports to ensure accuracy and full completion
  • Investigate any anomalies found between daily reports and takings
  • Train the Night Managers in ensuring the accurate completion of systems and processes
  • Assist the Night Manager in emergency situations

During third shift, this individual will be responsible for performing the below tasks to the highest standards:

  • Greets and registers guests
  • Provides prompt and courteous service
  • Checks guests in/out of the hotel
  • Resolves guest challenges throughout their stay in the hotel
  • Upgrades guests, and promotes hotel services and amenities
  • Completes the registration process, codes electronic keys, and makes appropriate selection of rooms based on guest needs
  • Promotes and administers Marketing Programs for arriving guests
  • Ensures guest knows location of room, and arranges for team member to accompany guest to room
  • Provides welcome packet containing room keys, tokens of our appreciation, gifts, etc. to guest.
