Cafeteria Attendant

Position Summary:

The Cafeteria Worker is responsible for providing a welcoming and efficient dining experience for hotel employees in the employee break room. This role involves preparing, serving, and maintaining food and beverage offerings while ensuring cleanliness and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Food Preparation:

• Prepare and serve a variety of meals, snacks, and beverages according to established menus and dietary requirements.
• Assist in meal planning and inventory management.

Customer Service:

• Greet employees warmly and provide friendly and efficient service.
• Respond to employee inquiries and feedback regarding food options.

Sanitation and Safety:

• Maintain cleanliness in the cafeteria area, including tables, equipment, and food storage areas.
• Follow health and safety regulations and sanitation guidelines to ensure food safety.

Stock Management:

• Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
• Ensure that all food items are properly labeled and stored.

Assisting with Events:

• Help set up and serve food for employee events or special occasions as required.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with other cafeteria staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Participate in training and staff meetings to improve service quality.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

- Previous experience in food service or cafeteria setting is a plus.

- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:
