The Opportunity 

Delaware North Boston Holdings part-time Ushers to join our team at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. As an Usher, you will be assisting with Public Relations by maintaining a proper image and generating positive public perception, boosting the guest experience.

Responsibilities 

  • Direct the orderly seating of guests, collection of tickets, and answer inquiries concerning the building, event, and other information
  • Facilitate the resolution of ticketing and seating problems, as well as guest complaints, and report any accidents or injuries
  • Perform necessary usher functions including attending event briefing, scanning customers tickets, maintaining order in the arena, keeping aisles and egress areas clear, operating elevators during events, securing restricted areas of the building, and working closely with supervisors to identify and resolve issues
  • Interact with guests to provide front-line customer service and assistance, ensuring all facility, guest, and team member policies are adhered to during events, as well as ensuring personal compliance with working terms and conditions in the Collective Bargaining Agreement
  • Coordinate with supervisors and management to ensure compliance with all front-of-house details

Qualifications 

  • Previous customer service experience in an arena or stadium environment is beneficial
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, professional and personal attitude, energetic, articulate, punctual, dependable
  • Ability to handle pressure effectively and ability to read
  • Capacity to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to work 50% of events in a month. 

Physical Requirements 

  • Standing and walking for entire length of shift.
