The Opportunity 

The Boston Bruins Video Production Specialist is involved with day-to-day production elements of the Bruins Content and Production teams, which include but are not limited to: videographer and highlight creation for all social media platforms and serving as a shooter for “Behind The B,” “Bruins Academy,” and other features/documentaries as assigned at the team’s practice facility, game arena and any off-site events.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $47100 - $61200 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities 

  • Work closely with the Director of Video Production to plan, shoot and edit videos for the Boston Bruins. 
  • Cover day-to-day media events for the Bruins, including press conferences, interviews, and game highlights. 
  • Create short-form video content for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. 
  • Serve as a primary shooter for "Behind The B," “Bruins Academy” and other features/documentaries as assigned. 
  • Edit footage to create engaging and informative videos. 
  • Collaborate with other members of the video production team to ensure consistency and quality in all videos produced.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in TV, Film, Communications, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of prior video production experience and training.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team.
  • Proficiency of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects and Photo shop
  • Ability and willingness to travel to majority of team’s road games and work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Willingness to learn and develop skills.
  • Passion for storytelling and creating compelling content with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
