Food Runner / Room Service Server

We are looking for a Food Runner/In-Room Dining to join the Hyatt Centric Arlington. The Food Runner/In-Room Dining position will be responsible for the delivery and removal of food to guests in lounge, restaurant, and rooms. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to meet the needs of guest and the Food and Beverage team a be customer service orientated.

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent.

Restaurant experience, preferred

Customer service experience

Strong communication skills.

Flexibility in shifts, including weekends and holidays

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Deliver food orders to customers in rooms and/or lounge, restaurant

Check in with customer to ensure satisfactory experience

Complete opening and closing sidework.

Provide quick and attentive assistance to any mishap in the restaurant.

Keep work area neat and clean.

Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.

Assist with tableware is properly displayed and delivered and removed

Assist dishwasher with cleaning of items and equipment when necessary

Handle various impromptu request from customers

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS

Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.

Help out in other areas of the restaurant as needed.
