Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal Sales Coordinator to join our team at The Gideon Putnam in Saratoga Springs, New York. As a Sales Coordinator, you will partner with clients, guests, and our food and beverage teams to create and execute events for our guests. What will you do?

  • Review guest event requests and requirements and determine the next steps to take
  • Work with the Sales Manager to create long-term planning and execution of event arrangements
  • Partner with the food and beverage department to organize the catering needs of events
  • Coordinate and host event rehearsals
  • Conduct a pre-and post-event briefing to ensure all departments understand the standards of the event

More about you

  • Between 1 to 3 years’ experience in hospitality, sales or related field
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products including Word and Excel
  • Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • No high school diploma or GED required

Physical requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel
  • Ability to lift, balance, and move up to 35 pounds
