Server Assistant

We are looking for a Server Assistant both full-time and part-time to join the Hyatt Centric-Arlington team. The Server Assistant is responsible for the clearing and setting of tables in a timely manner. They will assist with service to guests and ensure guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong desire to meet the needs guests and the Food and Beverage team and be customer service orientated. 

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent.

Restaurant experience, preferred

Customer service experience

Excellent communication skills.

Flexibility in shifts, including weekends and holidays

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Clear tables as needed. Reset with proper linen, china, silver and glassware.

Provide water and bread throughout the meal to the guest.

Complete opening and closing sidework.

Provide quick and attentive assistance to any mishap in the restaurant.

Keep work area neat and clean.

Be familiar with all property amenities and other restaurants.

Assist servers with service to guests

Assist dishwasher with cleaning of items and equipment when necessary

Deliver food as needed

MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:

Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.

 Help out in other areas of the restaurant as needed.
