Property Management System Administrator

Summary of Position: 

The Property Management System Administrator will provide technical oversight with planning, implementation, and management of property management systems across the Marc & Rose portfolio. Reporting to the Corporate Director of IT, the Property Management System Administrator will be responsible for enhancing user experiences, ensuring efficient system operations, and producing innovative solutions for a variety of complex problems. This role requires strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the technology ecosystems for the business. 

Essential Functions:

• Provide technical oversight in planning, implementing, and managing the property management system across the entire portfolio. 

• Enhance user experiences, ensure efficient system operations, and develop innovative solutions to address complex challenges. 

• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to optimize property management technology for business objectives. 

• Manage relationships with internal teams, including Operations and Finance, to ensure system alignment with business needs. 

• Partner with third-party vendors to evaluate, implement, and optimize property management technology solutions. 

• Identify opportunities for system improvements, automation, and advanced reporting capabilities to drive operational efficiency. 

• Research and evaluate emerging technologies and trends in property technology, recommending innovative solutions to maintain a competitive edge. 

• Troubleshoot operational issues, escalate when necessary, and implement effective resolutions. 

• Assist the IT team with support tickets and requests, ensuring exceptional customer service. 

• Uphold the Marc & Rose Hospitality culture by embodying the company’s vision, values, and standards for genuine hospitality. 

• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the VP of IT & Cybersecurity, Director of Information Technology, or General Manager. 

Qualifications: 

Education: High School Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree preferred. 

Experience: 5+ years’ experience in Hotel Property Management Systems 

Certificates or Licenses: N/A

• Ability to learn quickly, self-start, and work in high paced environment with little supervision
