Job Overview:

Your role goes beyond clearing tables – you’ll be an essential player in setting the stage for seamless service and memorable guest experiences. By supporting the front-of-house team with energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude, you help maintain the flow of service and deliver hospitality that feels both natural and extraordinary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Servers and Guests: Assist servers in ensuring that guests’ dining experiences are flawless by clearing tables, refilling drinks, and bringing additional items as needed, always with a smile.
• Maintain Cleanliness and Organization: Ensure that the dining area is clean, tidy, and welcoming at all times. Clean and reset tables quickly between guests, replenish condiments and ensure that service stations are stocked and organized.
• Deliver Unscripted Hospitality: Embrace the Unscripted Hospitality initiative by providing exceptional service without being prompted. Stay attentive to guests' needs and offer assistance when possible, helping to create a positive, memorable experience.
• Assist with Setup and Breakdown: Help prepare dining areas for service by setting tables with proper linens, glassware, and utensils. After service, break down the dining area, clean chairs, floors, and other areas to maintain a spotless environment.
• Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during each shift. Teamwork is key to ensuring guests have a seamless dining experience.
• Anticipate Needs: Help the team by anticipating guest needs and assisting with anything that will enhance their experience, such as offering extra napkins, refilling water glasses, or bringing additional silverware.
• Assist with Guest Requests: While not directly taking orders, you will play an important role by quickly responding to guest requests and assisting the team with fulfilling them in a timely manner.
• Monitor the Flow of Service: Stay alert to the pace of service and ensure that tables are cleared and reset quickly so that servers can focus on providing the best possible experience for guests.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a busperson or similar role in a high-end restaurant is preferred, but not required.
• A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both guests and colleagues.
• Ability to work efficiently, maintaining focus and attention to detail even during busy shifts.
• A passion for Unscripted Hospitality, with a desire to create genuine, thoughtful moments for guests.
• Must be able to lift and carry trays and bus tubs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
