Hotel Hugo Soho is conducting a search for a new Guest Service Agents.
Compensation: 26.00 per hour, Full-Time, Varies

We are looking for highly organized candidates with excellent people skills for the position of a Guest Service Agent/ Reservation Relief Agent.

No hotel experience required; we are excited to train new hotel professionals for the right persons. However, candidates with Hotel Reservation or Front Desk experience will be prioritized.

As the Guest Service Agent, you are happy to assist guests at every opportunity. You are a service minded person with responsibilities in reservations & front desk in addition to collaborating with housekeeping and engineering.

As the Reservation Relief Agent, you will speak with future, current and potential Guests.  You are service minded, thorough and organized. You are able to follow directions as instructed.  

As the best Hotel staff member, you will have tremendous patience when working with guests and accommodate their every need with enthusiasm and poise at every opportunity.

Some Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Greeting guests upon arrival and making them feel welcomed.
  • Administering check-ins and check-outs.
  • Completing task assigned daily such as Billing, Reservations as well as standard Front desk services.
  • Updating Extranets, answering emails and organizing guests stays. 
  • Delivering mail and messages.
  • Coordinating with bell service and staff management.
  • Being a source of information to guests on various matters such as transport and restaurant advice.
  • Accommodating general and unique requests.
  • Diffusing fragile situations with exceptional customer service.

To be considered, you must meet these minimum requirements:

  • Must have open availability with no weekly schedule restrictions
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of Customer Service experience
  • Professional command of the English language in both written and verbal communication
  • Excellent time management with unwavering integrity
  • Must be a patience person with a positive disposition
  • The ability to follow directions as instructed
