Description

Join Hilton’s Corporate Human Resources team and play a pivotal role in building a strong talent pipeline and fostering a promote-from-within culture through strategic workforce planning. The Manager, Workforce Planning & Openings – Asia Pacific will collaborate with HR leadership to ensure optimal staffing and talent planning for new hotel openings. By leveraging data-driven insights through our HR & Talent Management System (TMX), you will support the development of robust talent strategies, enabling internal growth opportunities while ensuring operational success across our growing portfolio in Asia Pacific.

What will I be doing? 

As the Manager, Workforce Planning & Openings – Asia Pacific, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

What your day-to-day will be like: 

  • Conduct in-depth workforce analysis and provide forecasting insights to ensure staffing needs are met for new hotel openings, supporting the development of a strong talent pipeline.
  • Continuously optimize our HR & Talent Management System (TMX) while tracking key metrics related to internal mobility, driving workforce planning initiatives that promote internal talent growth, and fostering a culture of career development.
  • Generate timely reports and actionable insights on workforce trends, enabling APAC HR and Hotel Operations teams to make informed decisions that align with our long-term talent strategies and business goals.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Reporting to the Senior Director, Talent & Leadership Development – APAC, you would partner closely with Regional HR Openings and Regional HR Operations teams to ensure workforce planning aligns with talent management and broader business goals.
  • Collaborate closely with regional and operational teams to provide timely insights that drive internal talent mobility, ensure workforce readiness, and promote internal talent development for new hotel openings.
  • Work with Hotel Operations teams to uphold and strengthen the Talent Management process, ensuring seamless talent deployment for new openings.

What deliverables you will take ownership of: 

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously refine the APAC Talent Dashboard and APAC Opening Dashboard to track key milestones and progress for all new hotel openings, contributing to identifying and nurturing internal talent.
  • Provide accurate workforce projections that support talent acquisition strategies and inform talent development plans, helping to build a robust internal talent pipeline for our growth.
  • Provide actionable, data-driven talent recommendations to enhance internal talent movements, retention, and overall workforce productivity.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

A Manager, Workforce Planning & Openings – Asia Pacific serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or hotel operations, ideally within the APAC region.
  • 3-5 years of experience in workforce planning, talent analytics, or hotel operations management.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, or other HR analytics platforms).
  • Strong understanding of talent management processes, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention strategies.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams to implement effective talent and workforce strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights.

It would be useful if you have:

  • Expertise in predictive analytics and advanced workforce planning tools.
  • Familiarity with HR systems like Oracle Cloud HCM or similar platforms for workforce and talent management modules.
