BASIC PURPOSE:

Hospitably and effectively promote and serve food and/or beverage to customers, according to brand/company standards and state laws in a safe, accident-free manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Hospitably greet, prepare and serve drinks to guests according to CHA beverage service standards andstate laws. (60%)
  • Prepare station for readiness prior to opening and closing of each shift. (20%)
  • Follow all cash handling and bank SOPs as directed by CHA. (10%)
  • Perform all sidework duties according to sidework schedules. (7%)
  • Assist barback with hors d'oeuvres table for cocktail hour in set-up and breakdown. (3%)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • High school education or equivalent experience.
  • One year of cocktail experience preferred.
  • Must be 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Communication and hospitality skills (English required).
  • Ability to use micros machine.
  • Full knowledge of state liquor laws.
  • Full knowledge of TIPs training.
