What you will be doing

• In This Role, You Will Play a Vital Role in Our Hotel's Financial Operations, Ensuring Accuracy and Organization in Our Accounting System.
• You Will Report To The Accounting Manager Or Controller.
• Processes And Prepares All Invoice Deduction Notices And Payments.
• Verify Bank Deposits And Credit Card Payments.
• Data Entry Of Financial Transactions In General Ledger, Sales Audit Module And Excel Files.
• Prepares All Accounts Payable Files, Reports, And Monthly Closings.
• Reviews, Reconciles, Corrects, Discrepancies Maintaining The Accuracy Of General Ledger Accounts.
• Researches And Negotiates Vendor Payment Terms And Resolves Inquiries.
• Assists With Related Special Projects, As Required.
• Communicates Efficiently And Effectively With Customers, Vendors, etc.
• Maintains Current W-9 Forms From All Vendors And Process Annual 1099 Forms.

Requirements

Basic reading, writing and math skills. May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. This job requires ability to perform the following: regularly required to talk , hear and interact with guests. Frequently is required to stand and use hands to, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally required to walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.

Education & Experience

• Degree from a two or four year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to two years in related experience and/or training.
