Job Overview:
The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of the hotel’s guest rooms and public areas. This individual will supervise the daily activities of the housekeeping staff, ensure that all cleaning standards are met, and assist in maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, leadership experience, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and inspect the work of the housekeeping team to ensure high cleanliness standards are maintained in guest rooms, corridors, and public areas.
• Schedule and assign tasks to housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
• Train and mentor housekeeping staff, ensuring adherence to hotel standards and safety protocols.
• Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and linens, placing orders as necessary.
• Conduct daily inspections of rooms and public areas to ensure quality control.
• Address guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping services in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with the maintenance department to report and follow up on any repair needs.
• Ensure that all housekeeping equipment is in good working condition and follow up on any repairs or replacements as needed.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and special housekeeping requests.
• Maintain effective communication with front desk and other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Promote a safe and positive work environment, adhering to all safety and health regulations.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in housekeeping systems and tools; experience with scheduling software is a plus.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional hospitality certifications are a plus.
