CONTROLLER

Essential Duties: 

• Manage accounting staff; insure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Insure proper accounting controls are in place and all transactions, records, documentations and books are kept in accordance with Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) accounting rules.
• Oversee the preparation of all financial reports.
• Oversee monthly financial closing and prepares P&L statement.
• Responsible for the management of the general ledger; establish and reconcile accounts including bank statements and inter-company accounts.
• Oversee all audits; direct resources to provide necessary reports and information required for quarterly and mid-year reviews and annual tax audits.
• Assist all departments with operating concerns and procedures relating to accounting.
• Review, verify and approve department payroll.
• Work with corporate entities; coordinate compilation of data for special reports.
• Other related duties as assigned or required.

Minimum Qualification Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Four years of relevant work experience with two years hotel/resort accounting and supervisory experience.
• MAS 100/200 Sage and Opera experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other team members
• High attention to detail and strong time management skills
• Korean Speaking a plus
