Job Summary

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring that all laundry is cleaned, folded, and returned to the appropriate rooms in a timely and efficient manner. The Laundry Attendant must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and must be able to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort and wash laundry according to color, fabric, and type
• Dry and fold laundry
• Iron and press clothing as needed
• Ensure that all laundry is returned to the appropriate rooms
• Report any damaged or stained items to the supervisor
• Keep laundry room clean and organized
• Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate protective equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Skills And Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience as a Laundry Attendant preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines
• Good communication skills
• Physical ability to lift and carry laundry
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
