The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a General Manager to lead our team at Holiday Inn Estes Park in Estes Park, Colorado. As General Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and service standards for all areas of the hotel, developing team members, managing processes and delivering the highest quality of service to our guests. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $104,100 – $140,500 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

  • Oversee operational efficiencies and service standards, and compliance with company and brand policies to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Manage current and long-term objectives, plans, policies and budget.
  • Hire, train, and develop team members and ensure all are supported and managed effectively.
  • Make operational recommendations for products and services within approved profit plan.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding alcohol, sanitation, payroll, and employment guidelines.
  • Drive a company vehicle on property as needed.

More about you

  • A Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, hotel management, business or related field preferred; equivalent years of relevent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • A minimum of 7-10 years with a combination of hotel management and food and beverage operations experience required.
  • Ability to coach and mentor a diverse workforce.
  • Excellent operational financial management accountability and budgeting experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.
