JOB SUMMARY
The Lead Maintenance Tech is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the engineering division in the absence of the director. You will assistant with the administrative, financial, and operational aspects of the hotel as they relate to Engineering within the Ballantyne Hotel, Lodge and Cottage.
JOB DUTIES
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree, preferably in facilities management, engineering or construction-related field.
3+ years of hospitality facilities management in hotels preferred
2+ years experience in a luxury hotel property preferred
Specialized technical crafts (e.g., electrical, HVAC, plumbing)
Required Skills and Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Basic math skills
Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office
Detail oriented
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand and move about the hotel throughout shift, walk, climb, sit, hear, listen, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, grasp and perform repetitive motions
Ability to push, pull, lift, carry and/or otherwise move up to 75 lbs frequently
