Executive Housekeeper

We are looking for a highly motived Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. 

The role will report to the Executive Assistant Manager. 

Conveniently located adjacent to Rome Termini Station and a short distance from the Colosseum, the 238-room Hyatt Regency Rome Central is a contemporary 5-star hotel offering premium business services and one of Italy’s most dazzling leisure rooftop experiences.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Be responsible for directing, supervising, and coordinating the daily activities of the housekeeping department, along with ensuring smooth operations, including rooms, public areas, and supplies.
• Manage and train housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of excellence and efficiency.
• Develop and implement cleaning procedures.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies while maintaining cost control.
• Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance the guest experience.
• Handle guest requests and resolve issues related to housekeeping services.
• Prepare reports and track performance metrics.
• Previous experience in managing outsourced companies.

Skills and requirements:

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning products, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in inventory management and cost control.
• Good level of English.
