Hotel Maintenance Assistant

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Assist the Chief Engineer with Daily, Weekly, Monthly Inspections and other duties as needed.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks in the guest rooms, public area as well as backup the house.
• Maintain all equipment in a good, clean and working condition.
• Keep the record of all repairs 
• Respond and complete all work orders for minor repairs as needed.
• Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment.
• Address guests’ service needs in a professional, positive and timely manner.
• Assist other associates to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
• Report missing hotel property and damages to hotel areas to department manager.
• Perform other miscellaneous jobs as requested by department manager

JOB REQUREMENTS

• 6 + months of prior maintenance experience
• Customer service experience is required, preferably in a hotel or related customer facing field
• Must be physically fit and can bend, stoop and lift
• Must be reliable; willing to work weekends and holidays
• Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with guest
• Ability to learn quickly and work in fast paced position with constant guest interaction
• Must be able to multi-task
• Must be 18 years or older
• Off Sunday & Monday. Schedule would be Tuesday-Saturday 8AM-430P for 40 Hour work week, with 30-minute unpaid lunch. 
• Holidays & Weekends Required
• Valid Drivers License
