The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Beer Vendors to join our team at Petco Park in San Diego, California.

As a Beer Vendor, you’ll roam your assigned section within the stadium, selling beverages to fans to earn commissions and tips. Your outgoing personality and tenacity for sales will be your greatest assets, ensuring fans stay refreshed and satisfied throughout the game.

This role is perfect for those who thrive in a fast-paced, physical environment. Youll need to carry up to 50lbs as you navigate the stadium stairs, making it essential to be physically fit. The excitement of the game, combined with the vibrant atmosphere of Petco Park, offers an unbeatable work experience. Please note: This position is paid in commissions and tips. The minimum wage listed is paid if total commissions and tips do not meet minimum wage requirements. Hourly wage is not paid in addition to commission and tips

What will you do?

  • Circulate among guests within the assigned section; call out and sell alcohol, beverage or food products
  • Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, request identification and adhere to company alcohol policies and procedures
  • Collect payment from guests while following credit handling policies
  • Conduct inventory reports at the end of each shift

More about you

  • Must be 18 years old
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to complete required pre-employment alcohol service training
  • Basic math skills for cash and inventory duties

Physical requirements

  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
