Delaware North Travel Hospitality is searching for an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at the Buffalo Airport in Buffalo, New York. As an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager, you will support the Food and Beverage Manager in the day-to-day running of restaurant operations. Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $60,406 – $60,406 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing procedures.
  • Maintain high standards of guest service to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Support restaurant management in training, coordinating, and supervising team members, fostering their professional development and creating a positive experience for both staff and guests.
  • May oversee scheduling, payroll and point of sale (POS) systems.
  • Uphold safe work environment by adhering to all safety and security policies and procedures.

More about you

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in a supervisory or management role within a high-volume restaurant, with a strong understanding of restaurant operations and guest service standards.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation and inventory control procedures
  • Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business levels.
