SUMMARY
Utilize strong analytical, quantitative and research skills to support all marketing functions. This position will use transactional data to develop statistical models, reporting and other ad hoc analytical work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES OF THE POSITION
- Model the data, design and build reports, dashboards, and assess using various system tools, and create custom visualizations and dashboards.
- Apply a variety of data extraction and analytic techniques to answer a wide range of business questions and suggest improvement ideas.
- Ensure business plans, tracking reports, analyses, and various other scheduled and ad-hoc reports, dashboards and market analyses are accurate and completed/delivered on time.
- Prepare materials for and participate in market meetings/calls.
- Develop insights in promotion design, guest engagement, and player development experiences using a data-driven philosophy.
- Work closely with marketing team and identify, measure, and track daily performance of key KPIs across department.
- Held accountable to the highest degree for the accuracy, thoroughness and discretion of tracking records and reports.
- Assist in developing customized casino marketing programs and initiatives designed to increase market share and improve ROI, including deliverable documentation.
- Implement improved segmentation and test design for Database Marketing projects.
- Execute Database Marketing segmentations as required.
- Assists in improving and maintaining player data integrity.
- Maintain strict privacy of all privileged information.
- Play an integral role in data mapping of the data warehouse.
- Play a support role during the budget process providing trends and forecast.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Four (4) year degree in Marketing and/or Computer Science or six (6) years of experience in database marketing or analysis or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Three (3) years in analysis or database management experience required.
- Gaming industry experience preferred.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Time management skills and ability to work on tight deadlines
- Expertise in researching and interpreting financial reports
- Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority.
- Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR’s).
- Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, percentages, common fractions, and decimals, and work with mathematical concepts.
REASONING ABILITY
- Must be able to apply common sense understanding to a variety of situations, to collect data, analyze facts, and determine appropriate response.

- Talk and hear; ability to communicate effectively.
- See and adjust focus to include close, distance, depth, and peripheral vision.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
