The team is currently seeking a service-oriented Banquet Houseperson that will provide support by setting up and breaking down meeting rooms for in house events.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• At least 1 year of set up experience within a hotel, country club, or large convention center setting.
• Previous experience working in hotel operations is a plus.
• The ability to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

A Banquet Houseperson is responsible for setting and cleaning banquet facilities for functions in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

The hourly rate for this role is $27.13 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location. 

What will I be doing?

As a Banquet Houseperson, you would be responsible for setting and cleaning banquet facilities for functions in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Set tables and chairs to meet function specifications.
• Clean meeting space including washing meeting room walls at beginning of events
• Clean meeting space including, but not limited to, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, polishing, wiping areas and washing walls before and after events
