The beautiful Embassy Suites Washington DC Convention Center is looking for a full-time Room Attendant to join their housekeeping team! This 384-suite property is set in the Penn Quarter neighborhood of D.C., just two blocks from the Washington Convention Center and a mile from the National Mall. A Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Please note that candidates for this position must have previous housekeeping or janitorial experience. Prior hotel experience preferred.
Shift Pattern: varies but typical hours are 8am-4:30pm or 3-11pm, AM/PM/weekend/holiday availability required.
Pay Rate: $20.63 per hour

What will I be doing?
As a Housekeeper you would be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed
Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
Dispose of trash and recyclables
Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
Perform guest turn down service, as needed
