BASIC FUNCTION: The Corporate Director of Information Technology is responsible for the design, development and implementation of organizational information systems, software applications, IT support and infrastructure systems to ensure that all of the technical needs of the organization are met. Direct and manage all aspects of IT procedures, standards, plans, policies and programs for the company's data processing, network communications, business operations, computer services and management information systems, according to established goals and objectives. As a company executive, the Corporate Director of Information Technology serves in a leadership role and will be expected to support and advise the business, making sure it takes advantage of all available technologies to generate additional operational efficiencies or competitive advantages.This individual will be the liaison with the vendors and be responsible for all outsourcing services. Strong project management skills are a must have and the ability to interact with and present to senior executives internally and externally.

QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING, & WORK EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; technology-related discipline preferred
- One or more Industry certifications preferred (Network +, Security +, Microsoft Certification, CISSP)
- 7 - 10 years IT operations leadership roles managing enterprise IT infrastructure, hardware, hosting services and network areas
- Demonstrate familiarity with Governance, Risk and Compliance Frameworks (PCI, GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, State Law)
- Prior Hospitality experience required
- Proven experience and understanding of architecture principles across infrastructure platforms, security, data, integration and application layers.
- Application Knowledge of Company Software (Delphi, Opera, Aptech/PVNG, HRIS, Aloha, etc.)
- HSIA Experience – Vendor relationship management
- Ability to evaluate and implement emerging technologies
- Knowledge and understanding of industry trends and new technologies and ability to apply trends to architectural needs

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ensure integration with the company’s strategic planning process, and the resulting business strategy and plans.
- Ensure the company’s technology resources are aligned with the organization’s short- and long-term goals.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and business partners to define and execute the digital business strategy.
- Participate in and contributes to the assessment of external digital opportunities and threats, and internal technology capabilities required to achieve desired competitive positioning.
- Develop and control annual operating and capital expenditure budget for technology to ensure the investments are consistent with OTH’s overall strategic objectives
- Develop and maintain a technology workforce with the appropriate mix of business knowledge, technical skills and competencies.
- Balance the need for growing the agility required to achieve digital business objectives, with ensuring the core technology functions are reliable, stable and efficient
- Provide leadership, coaching and direction as appropriate
- Ensure a nimble, flexible, responsive and customer-oriented technology model is in place to ensure effective and efficient delivery of information services, support and technologies to both internal and external customers
- Perform ongoing evaluation to determine whether technology infrastructure meets the needs of the business, support its strategies, and are consistent with strategic direction and organizational goals and objectives

- Responsible for system-wide lifecycle of technology assets
