 What will I be doing?

• Prepping and cooking food for the restaurant, functions, and other outlets within the hotel
• Assisting the kitchen brigade with smooth day-to-day operations, ensuring timely and top-tier service
• Preparing high-quality dishes in an efficient, economical, and hygienic manner
• Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas, strictly following food safety regulations (HACCP, FSMS)
• Collaborating with the team to maintain consistent, high-quality food output
• Assisting in the training and mentoring of junior kitchen staff

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a 5-star hotel or fine dining restaurant
• Full Australian working rights and a valid trade qualification
• Strong cooking skills and knowledge of food safety
• Able to handle pressure, priorities tasks, and solve problems calmly
• A positive attitude and willingness to be part of a team, with great communication and problem-solving skills
• Passion for culinary trends and a commitment to continuous learning
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends
