What you will be doing

The Corporate IT Manager will work closely with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to oversee and enhance the company's IT operations, focusing on financial and business applications, innovation, automation, vendor management, and compliance. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration of technology with business processes, optimizing IT budgets, leading project management efforts, and maintaining robust network infrastructure. Proficiency with the Microsoft platform, including Azure, Microsoft 365, and Windows Server, is essential.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Strategic IT Management & Innovation:

  • Collaborate with the CTO to shape and execute an IT strategy that supports the company's goals. Focus on identifying automation opportunities across departments like finance, HR, and marketing to drive efficiency. Lead the design and deployment of tools like RPA and workflow management systems to streamline processes and minimize manual tasks. Ensure all automation initiatives comply with industry regulations and internal standards.

Compliance and Security:

  • Develop IT policies to maintain data security, integrity, and privacy across the organization. Regularly conduct IT audits in collaboration with internal teams to ensure adherence to compliance standards. Implement data management strategies that safeguard corporate data assets while ensuring accessibility and availability. Focus on strengthening cybersecurity measures to defend against emerging threats and maintain regulatory compliance.

Business Applications and Project Management:

  • Manage and support the integration of financial systems and enterprise applications, focusing on optimizing their performance. Work closely with finance and other business units to enhance usability and ensure seamless system integration. Lead IT projects from start to finish, ensuring they meet scope, time, and budget requirements. Oversee software upgrades and migrations, ensuring business continuity and minimal disruptions during transitions.

Vendor Management:

  • Build strong relationships with IT vendors to secure quality service and the best value for the company. Negotiate and manage contracts and SLAs to ensure vendors meet performance expectations. Stay updated on new technologies from vendors that could benefit the company’s IT capabilities. Conduct regular reviews of vendor performance and address any issues promptly to maintain service quality.

Network Infrastructure Management:

  • Oversee the stability, performance, and reliability of the company’s network infrastructure, including cloud services and data centers. Implement disaster recovery plans and strategies to ensure business continuity in case of system failures. Manage network security protocols to protect against unauthorized access and potential data breaches. Continuously evaluate and improve infrastructure scalability to support the company’s growth and evolving needs.

The ideal candidate for this position

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISA) preferred.
  • 5 years of progressive experience in corporate IT management, focusing on data management, process automation, and financial applications, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Microsoft Power Platform: Experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Virtual Agents to enhance business processes through automation and customized applications.
  • Excel Advanced Features: Expert-level skills in using Excel for complex data analysis, including advanced formulas, VBA scripting, and Power Query for data transformation.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in team management, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical thinker with a track record of driving innovation, implementing best practices, and delivering measurable business value through technology solutions.
