Job Summary: The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas meet the hotel’s cleanliness and quality standards. This role involves managing staff, conducting inspections, and ensuring efficient workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Management: Supervise and train housekeeping staff, delegating tasks to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.

• Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards.

• Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.

• Scheduling: Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for daily operations.

• Guest Relations: Address guest requests and concerns promptly, providing exceptional service to enhance guest satisfaction.

• Policy Compliance: Ensure that all housekeeping policies and procedures are followed, including safety and sanitation standards.

• Reporting: Assist in preparing reports on housekeeping operations, including performance metrics and areas for improvement.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to coordinate services and maintain a seamless guest experience.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or management preferred.
• Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field, with supervisory experience a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.
