The stunning oceanfront resort, The Diplomat Beach Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton, is looking for an Events Manager to join their Catering and Events team! This breezy 1000-room property on Hollywood Beach with award-winning restaurants and activities sits along the Diplomat Landing Marina and has 209,000 sq. ft. of flexible indoor and outdoor event space.

As Event Manager you are responsible for event documentation and coordination with Sales, hotel departments and customers to ensure consistent, high-level service throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases of all hotel events.

Shift Pattern: Flexibility as needed, depending on business needs

Compensation: $34.62 per hour

What will I be doing?

As Event Manager you are responsible for event documentation and coordination with Sales, hotel departments and customers to ensure consistent, high-level service throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases of all hotel events.  You will be required to ensure a seamless turnover from sales to service back to sales. Recognizes opportunities to maximize revenue by upselling and offering enhancements to create outstanding events.  Serve as the event planner's primary contact following turnover on property and is responsible for his/her experience.
