What you will be doing

In this role, you will help maintain the interior and exterior of the hotel including but not limited to; guest rooms, public restrooms, fixtures, vending areas, storage areas and other designated items as needed. Responding to guests maintenance requests courteously, promptly, and resolving matters to the guest’s satisfaction. Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform Routine Inspections And Maintenance Of Hotel Facilities And Equipment
  • Identify And Report Any Safety Hazards Or Maintenance Issues
  • Carry Out Necessary Repairs To Ensure The Smooth Operation Of Hotel Facilities
  • Respond Promptly To Guest Requests And Complaints Related To Hotel Facilities And Equipment
  • Work Closely With Other Hotel Departments To Coordinate Maintenance And Repair Work
  • Ensure Compliance With Hotel Safety And Security Protocols
  • Keep Detailed Logs Of All Maintenance And Repair Work
  • Manage Inventory Of Maintenance Supplies And Equipment
  • Assist In The Installation Of New Equipment And Facilities
  • Perform General Cleaning Tasks As Required
  • Perform Routine Maintenance Tasks, Including Painting, Electrical Repairs, Hvac Repairs, Plumbing, Etc.
  • Respond To Guest Issues In A Timely And Efficient Manner
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance On Tools And Equipment, Including Cleaning And Lubrication
  • Maintain Daily Logs Of Operation, Maintenance, And Safety Activities
  • Communicate With Hotel Management On Any Work Orders, Safety Issues, Or Concerns
  • Ensure That All Work Areas Are Clean And Organized
  • Comply With All Safety And Health Regulations
  • Undertake Duties As Assigned Or Emergency Tasks

Requirements

Requirements include basic reading, writing and math skills.  You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. This job requires ability to perform the following: regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently standing up and moving about the work area, frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility, frequently bending, stooping and kneeling, frequently working in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Three to six months related experience and/or training.
