Job Overview:
The Housekeeping Inspector ensures that all guest rooms and public areas meet the hotel’s high cleanliness and presentation standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding the impeccable reputation of La Playa Hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting rooms and areas after cleaning, providing feedback to staff, and ensuring that the hotel's standards are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas to ensure they meet cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Provide feedback and guidance to housekeeping staff on areas for improvement.
• Document and report any maintenance or repair needs found during inspections to the appropriate department.
• Ensure all rooms are properly stocked with supplies and that housekeeping trolleys are orderly and fully equipped.
• Coordinate with the housekeeping team and supervisor to prioritize room readiness, especially during high occupancy periods.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies and communicate any shortages or restocking needs to the supervisor.
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and other special assignments as needed.
• Respond to guest inquiries or concerns related to room cleanliness in a timely and professional manner.
• Adhere to all safety, health, and sanitation guidelines, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both guests and staff.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or management.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a housekeeping role, preferably in a luxury or boutique hotel environment.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards for cleanliness.
• Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude when interacting with staff and guests.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
