The Regional Director of Revenue is the key support role to the Full-Service property Revenue teams, to ensure established goals are met or exceeded. The Regional Director helps lead the development, implementation, and measurement of revenue strategies, ensuring adherence to company and brand policies, to optimize the most profitable revenue capture throughout the hotels’ market segmentation. Supports hotel Revenue Strategy teams with revenue optimization by monitoring transient and group pricing and providing recommendations tailored to each hotel. Analyzes data to identify trends and demand changes to guide hotels in shifting strategy. Travels to properties across the United States, when needed, to address performance and support hotel teams. This role requires frequent travel. While this position is home-based, the candidate must be eligible to work in the United States and must live within the US mainland.

Worked Performed

  • Serves as the main above-property support for hotel-level Area Directors of Revenue and hotel teams. Leads Revenue Management teams to ensure RevPAR optimization by analyzing/forecasting demand and assisting teams in establishing effective segmentation strategies.
  • Drives teams to execute practices to maximize overall hotel profit via rooms and food and beverage.
  • Lead for hotel systems implementation, set up and execution.
  • Subject matter expert for brand revenue management and reservations systems (Hilton GRO, R&I, Marriott OneYield v2, Hyatt PrO, Reserve, N2Pricing).
  • Provides brand-specific and Westmont system expertise, guidance, and training.
  • Offers backup property DORM coverage through sick/vacation time and continuity during turnover.
  • Participates in weekly meetings to provide support and training for local property revenue leaders.
  • Ensures alignment with all stakeholders, including ownership, asset management, and property managers.
  • Works with Head of Revenue to implement new company wide initiatives and standards.
  • Provides oversight in hotel budgeting and business planning process for the rooms and banquets/catering departments.
  • Works with General Managers, Sales, and Revenue Leaders to establish and track performance to key strategic plans.
  • Ensures forecasts are submitted and validated by established due dates and in line with Westmont guidance, against most recent strategies and trends.
  • Provide guidance and support on sales and marketing initiatives that are targeted to meet the needs of the hotel.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to the properties’ strategy teams.
  • Compile, complete, and distribute weekly/monthly corporate reporting tracking hotel and portfolio results.
  • All other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position, as assigned by Head of Revenue.
  • This position reports to the Head of Revenue and can be based anywhere in the forty-eight contiguous United States.
  • Travel to properties across the United States, as required.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive Revenue leadership experience, including multi-property, area, or regional roles, across multiple brands.
  • Strong organization and an analytical approach to problem solving.
  • Intermediate or expert skill level in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Expert knowledge of Hilton GRO RMS and Marriott OneYield v2. Knowledge of Hyatt PrO RMS, and N2Pricing RMS is also helpful.
  • Strong ability to utilize and analyze business intelligence tools, including Amadeus products (Agency360/Demand360), CoStar Benchmark, Lighthouse, various industry tools, and brand reporting.
  • Candidates must be based in the contiguous forty-eight states, and eligible to work in the United States.
  • Ability to travel to corporate meetings and hotels for frequent revenue team visits.
  • Extensive knowledge of hotel positioning across multiple markets, types of hotels, and different brand systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with command of written and verbal language.
  • Self-driven, with an elevated level of diligence, and ability to work on own.
  • Ability to lead, develop, and work alongside Area Directors of Revenue with various levels of experience.
