The Tempo New York Times Square is looking for a Food & Beverage Manager to join our team. Our stylish 661-room hotel is in Times Square, steps from restaurants, shops, and Broadway theaters. Central Park, Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, and Grand Central Station are within one mile. Our Outdoor Terrace overlooks the heart of the city. Our restaurant also offers iconic NYC views.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing unionized team members and knowledge of New York City and local events. 

Shift: Full availability is needed for this position; however, most shifts will be in the PM (3pm – midnight) 

Pay Rate: $80,000 / annually

What will I be doing?

As a Food & Beverage Manager, you would be responsible for directing and organizing activities of the Food & Beverage department. 

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

•       Plan and direct the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
•       Implement effective controls of food, beverage, and labor costs.
•       Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards.
•       Help ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
•       Interview, train, supervise, counsel, schedule and evaluate staff.
