We are thrilled to share this fantastic opportunity for three interns to join our marketing teams on a 12-month placement. Do you want to do legendary work and win awards? If you're an undergraduate or master's student eager to gain hands-on experience in brand strategy, marketing, campaign management, and partnership activations on an international scale, this placement is the perfect opportunity to join us in achieving more and being even better. 

From day one, our placement students are fully integrated into Team Hilton. Our placements offer vast exposure and opportunities, such as networking with senior executives, involvement in regional conferences and, for some, international travel.  

Based in our EMEA headquarters, Watford, you will be part of a cohort of 40 Interns and take part in regular connect meetings, short assignments and feedback sessions designed to support your development. You will benefit from a subsidised restaurant, a games area and a free in-house gym.   

The Opportunities 

We have three placements available across three of our Marketing sub teams.  

If successful throughout the initial application stages, you will be invited to an interview for one of the below 12-month placements, which will be confirmed prior to the interview.  

Here’s a bit about what each team does:  

Brand Marketing: 

As the EMEA Brand Marketing intern, you will play an active role in developing marketing campaigns and activating partnerships. You will carry out a range of administrative/support activities, as well as having ownership of your own project-based initiatives. The EMEA Brand Marketing team develop marketing and partnership strategies and tactics to drive brand consideration with key consumer target segments across key focus markets: UK, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Germany.  

As the brand marketing intern, you will also support the team in terms of developing internal communications to share learnings and impact of campaigns and initiatives.   

Marketing and Loyalty: 

As the EMEA Marketing & Loyalty intern, you will play an active role in our teams continued success. You will carry out a wide range of activities and initiatives, as well as having ownership of your own project-based initiatives to drive the growth and engagement of the Hilton Honors base across the EMEA region.   

Hilton's Loyalty program, Hilton Honors: Oversee and continually evolve our hotel-level Hilton Honors Champion programme (over 700 Honors in EMEA), which includes developing hotel-facing training, communications and performance initiatives to drive hotels Honors performance.   

Customer Relationship Management: Support the execution of Honors member email communications, to elevate the member experience and build brand affinity within the EMEA region.  

Media Marketing: 

As the Media intern, you will gain experience of most aspects of media advertising from always-on Performance Media across Google products to huge campaign launches which incorporate both digital and offline ad formats, such as social media, TV, billboard, podcast advertising and much more. You will gain exposure to client-side marketing disciplines in these areas, as well as work closely with our advertising agency and key media partners. This will be a super exciting opportunity to look under the hood of advertising channels and platforms to understand how we bring authentic and compelling adverts to life.

Added to this, you’ll have an incredible opportunity to work directly with our key partners such as Meta (Facebook), TikTok, Google, YouTube and more. We do work hard, but a career in advertising is a ton of fun too. You will get to visit the offices of the key publishers above, and we’ll connect you with a variety of our external stakeholders within those publishers and our advertising agency. Also, developing competitor analysis and managing design, implementation and reporting of media tests within our “test n learn” agenda so that you get to see what a career in advertising might look like from all sides.  

You will support the Media team across brand campaigns, performance marketing and regional marketing, help to build innovation in media activity, working with external partners such as Dentsu, Google, TikTok and Meta. You will build campaign reports as needed for wider marketing organisation whilst cultivating strong relationships with publishers, surfacing new opportunities to test & innovate.

What are we looking for?

  • First and foremost, Hilton is a hospitality company, and we are looking for individuals with a strong sense of alignment to our culture and values. 
  • Must be a current Bachelor’s or Master’s student with a required 12-month year in industry placement as part of your degree.   
  • Must be able to start on the 7th of July 2025, to work full-time for a 12-month duration.   
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK. If you are a non-UK national, without EU Settled or Pre-Settled Status then you will need to be studying at a UK university to be eligible to undertake a placement here.   
  • Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading and writing).  
  • The ideal candidate will have at least an interest in the hotel/hospitality industry if not relevant to your degree or any work experience you might have.  
  • Media Marketing - the candidate will have an interest in consumer behaviour, media and advertising.  
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly and concisely express ideas both verbally and in writing. 
  • Comfortable prioritizing tasks and working to deadlines.  
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and numerical understanding.   
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to act autonomously. 
  • Must be adaptable, passionate to learn and hard working.
