Construction Administrative Assistant
Hollander Hospitality is seeking a Construction Administrative Assistant for our corporate office in Bellingham, WA. The Construction Administrative Assistant provides general and clerical support to the Project Management team, customers, and on-site project teams to facilitate the efficient operation of the department. Responsible for updating documents, maintaining file organization, and performing general clerical duties.

- Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Rate Of Pay
- $23.00 to $25.00 per hour/DOE

Requirements
Experience And Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Two years’ experience as an Administrative Assistant or equivalent.
- Experience in a construction/development environment preferred.
Knowledge
- Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and various project management software.
- Adobe Acrobat, Smartsheet, and Bluebeam are a plus.
Skills & Abilities
- Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships, developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
- Effectively use standard office equipment such as computers and related software, printers, photocopier, and scanner.
- Carry out duties with a minimal amount of supervision.

- Communicate effectively in the English language in writing using correct spelling, grammar and rules of composition, and verbally by speaking clearly and concisely to convey information.

- Present a professional appearance according to the standards of the position and company policy.

Working Conditions
Work is performed in a fast–paced office environment with frequent interruptions. Incumbent must be able to effectively utilize computers and related software, computer printers, adding machine, photocopier, and scanner.
Physical Requirements
Light Work
– Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. This work requires the ability to sit for long periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry general office supplies and equipment. Position requires hand manipulative skills for word processing and writing. Must be able to hear verbal conversations over the phone and in person with background noise.
