Lounge Attendant Job Description and Key Responsibilities

The day-to-day duties of a Lounge Attendant include but are not limited to:

Warmly welcome and assist guests with seating arrangements.

Offer detailed menu presentations and knowledgeable recommendations regarding daily specials and promotions.

Serve beer, wine and spirits to guests.

Accurately record and place guest orders, while advising on beverage pairings.

Extend complimentary services, including drinks, and ensure guests are aware of additional offerings.

Guarantee swift order execution and timely delivery to guest tables.

Address and resolve inquiries and concerns about hotel and lounge services.

Prepare and stock condiment stations, maintaining supply levels through coordination with procurement.

Orchestrate with housekeeping staff to uphold a hygienic and sanitized lounge environment.

Arrange buffet areas, ensuring food and drink presentation is both appealing and accessible.

Conduct ongoing checks to secure guest satisfaction and manage further service requests.

This Job is two roles in one position = Lounge Attendant & Kitchen Utility

We are looking for a courteous, professional Lounge Attendant who is friendly and experienced to join our growing hospitality team! In addition to working the lounge, you will also be helping to maintain, clean and organize the back of house Food & Beverage areas. The Kitchen Utility portion of the job will include helping to put away deliveries, run the dish machine, cleaning, stocking and even light prep work and Banquet set up and tear down.

It's a great position for someone who loves a job that offers multiple opportunities to interact with guests and work several areas of the Food & Beverage department.

Job can be fulltime or part time but will be full 8-hour shifts and will include working weekends and holidays.
