Four Diamond Award winning hotel looking for an experienced sales manager. Prefer one or more years of hotel sales or event management sales experience. Knowledge of Mariott's CI System a plus. Sales person will handle all phases of the sales and event planning process for medium size groups.
Compensation: $65K - plus quarterly bonus, Tiempo Completo

To build and lead a team of salespeople to help drive revenue. Sales managers must motivate their teams to generate leads, build client relationships, set targets to hit or exceed revenue forecasts, and ultimately meet customer needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
  • Meeting planned sales goals.
  • Setting individual sales targets with the sales team.
  • Tracking sales goals and reporting results as necessary.
  • Overseeing the activities and performance of the sales team.
  • Coordinating with marketing on lead generation.
  • The ongoing training of your salespeople.
  • Developing your sales team through motivation, counseling, and product knowledge education.
  • Promoting the organization and products.
  • Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products.
