Sales Coordinator

The Sales Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the hotel's sales, event planning, and operational efforts by assisting the hotels leadership team with administrative and operational tasks. The Sales Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating activities, managing communications, and ensuring the smooth execution of the hotels sales and event services. This position is ideal for someone interested in building a career in hotel sales, operations, or event planning.

• Assist the sales team booking and coordinating weddings, events, meetings, and conferences held at the hotel
• Respond promptly to requests from clients, providing requested information about the hotel
• Maintain ongoing communication via phone and email with guests, answering questions, and providing necessary assistance
• Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, contracts, and event orders
• Prepare and distribute reports and documents
• Assist in managing room blocks and reservations for incoming groups
• Collaborate with various hotel departments (e.g., banquet, housekeeping, accounting, reservations) to ensure successful event execution
• Use customer relationship management software (CI/TY) to assist in tracking leads, sales activities, client information and to create event orders
• Handle administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies
• Assist the Hotel Leadership Team with special projects
