Reports to: All Food and Beverage Managers

Job Summary

We have extremely high expectations for our employees at Lakewood Country Club. We seek well­ balanced individuals to join our team in providing our members with memorable experiences. We can teach you the technical aspects of your job to assist you in being successful but expect the highest level of service excellence from our employees. We are looking for an individual who can preserve our 100 years of rich history while helping Lakewood rise to the next level.

• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Food safety certification is required
• TABC certification is required

Education and/or Experience

• High School education, College preferred

• Two years of customer service or fine dining experience preferred

• The ability to read, write and execute basic math skills.

Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations 

• Greet and acknowledge members and guests following service excellence and Club philosophy

• Punctuality and reliability as scheduled will be required

• Knowledgeable about the club, its offerings, wine list, and menu 

• Ability to time the service of each course

• Learn members’ names and special preferences

• Team Player who can collaborate effectively with peers and leadership team

• Ability to resolve member's issue with poise and professionalism

• Ability to take direction well with full execution to end result

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.

• Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.

• Continuous repetitive motions.

• Work in hot, humid and noisy environment.
