Job Summary:

As a Server at The Sands Waterfront Restaurant, you will be an integral part of our front-of-house team, responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests. You will ensure a memorable dining experience by delivering attentive, friendly, and efficient service while showcasing our menu offerings and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Greet guests warmly and assist them in selecting menu items, answering questions about the menu, and making recommendations.

2. Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff promptly.

3. Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.

4. Monitor and anticipate guests' needs, responding promptly and courteously to requests and concerns.

5. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with their meals and address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.

6. Handle guest payments and process transactions accurately using the POS system.

7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including dining areas, server stations, and service areas.

8. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service and contribute to a positive work environment.

9. Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a server in a restaurant setting is preferred.

2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

3. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

4. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.

5. Knowledge of food and beverage offerings and a willingness to learn and expand knowledge.

6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

7. Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and hold any required certifications.

8. Physical stamina and the ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry trays for extended periods.
