A houseman is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of a hotel or resort. As a banquet houseman, you will be responsible for setting up and breaking down banquet rooms for events and meetings. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down banquet rooms for events and meetings
• Ensure that all equipment and supplies are properly stored and maintained
• Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas
• Assist with the delivery of guest requests and amenities
• Assist with the transportation of luggage and other items for guests
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience as a banquet houseman preferred
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
