Job Description
An Executive Chef is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a creative approach to cooking, as well as strong leadership and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of customers
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards
- Manage and train kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other personnel
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to develop new menu items and promotions
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments
Skills
- Executive CHEF certification or equivalent experience
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
