***This role is based at our corporate offices in Memphis, TN***

This is your chance to be part of a Global Distribution Team that is an important part of Hilton's Commercial Services organization around the world. As a Manager, Group Commissions and Customer Service, you will support the team responsible for booking channel management and negotiations, booking channel optimization and operations, and services including payment and transaction settlement for online and digital third-party channels driving business to Hilton's hotels globally. On the Fast Pay team reporting to the Director DS Ops & Customer Services, you will work on projects including creating automated solutions that aid in executing the retail compensation component of Hilton’s partner agreements with Online Travel Agencies, Travel Management Companies, Meeting Planner Companies, and main accounts globally.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Maintain and evaluate weekly production numbers including maintaining relevant documentation on the team site and department site.
  • Assess actual performance against objectives to determine whether the team is on target to reach goals.

How you will collaborate with others:

  • Conduct monthly one-on-ones with direct reports and support Personal Development Plan (PDP) initiatives and other organizational training.
  • Serve as the authority for group commissions and customer service-related issues.
  • Develop, create, and communicate important information to team members via email, memos, reports, and phone calls.

What projects you will take ownership of:

  • Oversee some of Hilton's largest group meeting planner accounts.
  • Supervise new-hire onboarding and training.

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of professional experience
  • Two (2) years of managerial experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
  • Knowledge of account management
  • Experience in a customer service or help desk function
  • Experience in the hospitality industry

It would be useful if you have:

  • BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree
  • Knowledge of group commission workflow
  • Seven (7) years of professional experience
