Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, procedures and standards.

• Cleaning (sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, deep cleaning with bonnet machine, etc.) of public areas, including the pool area and guest bathrooms.
• Assist room attendants by stocking closets with amenities, linens.
• Assist Room Attendants by removing dirty lines, stripping of guest rooms
• Set up poolside with logo pool towels.
• Moving and rearranging furniture (sofas, tables, chairs, etc.) in public areas.
• Maintain appearance and cleanliness of all stone floorings- sweeping, mopping, bonnet machine.
• Maintain the physical setup and appearance of public areas.
• Detail work in the lobby and lounge areas: dust all crevices, stair banisters, baseboards, ceiling vents, lamp bases.
• Assist team members when needed.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures that pertain to the job.
• Report and record any lost and found items.
• Respond to guest requests and service calls in a timely manner.
• Report and record any damages, discrepancies and/or malfunctioned equipment to supervisor(s).

Position Purpose

Uphold and maintain the cleanliness and service standards of guest rooms and designated areas by following proper safety and sanitation procedures.

Execute and record daily output of guest room linens.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, procedures and standards.
• Maintain a friendly disposition.
• Maintain a well-presented appearance (uniform pressed and clean, hair out of face, correct footwear).
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest rooms- using the correct designated cleaning chemicals, empty waste baskets, dusting, vacuum, strip and make beds, clean bathrooms, restock items.
• Responsible for keeping record and entering properly in Opera system completed rooms (per code).
• Tidy guest room hallways- vacuum, clean marks on walls and doors.
• Tidy and organize linen closets.
• Assist team members when needed.
• Assist with special projects.
• Report and record any lost and found items.
• Report and record all guest room status on daily rooms assignment.
• Respond to guest requests and supervisor(s) service calls in a timely manner.
• Iron, fold and count and record all bed linens and F&B linens.
• Record daily processed, soiled and damaged bed linens and F&B linens.
• Light cleaning of laundry facility- sweeping, dusting, vacuuming.
• Maintain appearance and cleanliness of laundry facility.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures that pertain to the job.
• Report and record any damages, discrepancies and/or malfunctioned equipment to supervisor(s).

Qualifications

• Use of extraction and/or bonnet machinery (preferred).
• Minimum 6 months experience at a luxury or equivalent establishment.
• Basic English verbal skills

Qualifications

Previous luxury hotel experience a plus.
