 The Finance Executive - General Ledger does the bookkeeping phase of the Finance department which will encompass daily journals and include (but not be limited to) inventory, month end processes, balance sheet reconciliations and other administrative duties.  

What will I be doing? 

• Assist the superior in preparing monthly statements, ensuring the voucher is correctly included in the account.
• Review travel agent commission payments and ensure compliance with Hilton standards
• Maintain and reconcile the company's general ledger accounts monthly.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial information and resolve any discrepancies.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing journal entries and supporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, such as GAAP and SOX.
• Prepare and file tax returns and assist with tax audits.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes and provide financial analysis as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
• Continuously identify areas for process improvement and develop solutions to streamline accounting processes.
• Undertake a variety of clerical and filing duties as necessary ensuring accuracy and high standards at all times.
• To undertake any additional reasonable duties at the request of your superior.

• Perform any other reasonable duties assigned
